Guillen ejection sparks comeback Yemaya 3 is paid for, sailing proudly off the shores of Ozzie Guillen's home whenever he returns to Venezuela for some downtime. As for The Four O's, Guillen's Miami toy, well, after Wednesday, he still owes on the boat. And at this rate, it might be some time before he finally can call it all his own.

Flip by Ramirez play of the game

Alexei Ramirez's seventh-inning play Wednesday left Paul Konerko searching -- mostly in vain -- for a comparison.

Put it on the message board Maybe now his message has been heard. For days, White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen has been using different tactics to get his players to understand what's at stake in the final two months of the regular season -- and more importantly, what opportunities they have been wasting.

Sox score five in eighth to win Carlos Quentin hit two home runs, including the go-ahead, three-run shot during a five-run eighth inning, helping the Chicago White Sox rally to beat the Texas Rangers 10-8 on Wednesday.

Dirty pool: Sox, Cubs aren't playing by the rules Jay Mariotti: To this day, the boom of Ken Williams' voice echoes through town: "Stay out of White Sox business!" He was warning a bitterly departed Frank Thomas not to go there, if you know what I mean, and his rebuke was typical of an organization so protective of its internal affairs that one all but needs a secret handshake and password to enter the front door.

Logan can't get too comfortable

Boone Logan wasn't sure if Ozzie Guillen's latest message was directed at him, but the White Sox reliever sure fits the profile.

Sox blast past Rangers Mark Buehrle pitched 7 1-3 innings and Alexei Ramirez hit the first grand slam of his career to help the Chicago White Sox beat the Texas Rangers 10-2 Tuesday night. Nick Swisher hit a three-run homer, Jermaine Dye had three hits and Jim Thome reached base four times as the White Sox snapped a three-game losing streak.

Sox ready to make a move? This is Ken Williams' time of year. The calendar reads late July, and the White Sox general manager is seated at the table, smile on his mug, like there's not a damn thing in his hand. The ultimate poker face.

Sox 'standing up' to cancer

Walking into athletic arenas is commonplace for seven-time Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong. But when Armstrong walked into the White Sox clubhouse Monday, he admitted it ''was odd'' to be asked by major-league players to sign baseballs.

Lefty Richard called up, will start Wednesday

The closed-door meeting was a short one.
